How long do the Eyelashes last?

It is an individual process. The naturally growth cycle of lashes has them falling out and regrowing at different times and stages.

Lashes can stay on up to 2 months with proper care and maintenance. However, many get fills every 2-4 weeks to keep the desired look. Factors such as eyelash growth, lifestyle and general after care will affect how long the lashes last.

If you must wear mascara use only non-waterproof mascara as you should not use oil based make up removers since the oil based products will break done the adhesive bond on the extension.

What if I do not like them?

If times goes by and you decide that lash extensions just aren’t for you DO NOT attempt to remove any lashes on your own, seek professional help from your technician. Removing them on your own may cause damage to your natural lashes! We will not be held liable for any damages that you may cause by trying to remove the eyelash extensions on your own.

What happens if a lash should loosen or become dislodged?

If at anytime before your fill lashes become loosened or dislodged please do not pull on the lash. Please contact your Technician to make an appointment to have them removed or replaced, to avoid damage to your natural lash.

As your natural lashes fall out due to the new growth cycle, you will need fills every 2-4 weeks to maintain your desired look.

A few added tips to keep your extensions looking fabulous and new are:

1. Do not perm or tint lashes before or after lash extension application.

2. Do not use a regular eyelash curler.

3. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face.

4. Clean around the eyes with a damp microfiber wash cloth or Eyelash Shampoo brush.

5. Do not use oil based eye make up removers.

6. Do not pull your lash extensions, as it may pull out your natural lash as well.

Do's and Dont's Before Lashes

  • Shower prior to your appointment.
  • Eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or steam within the first 48 hours will insure that the bond between the semi permanent lashes and your natural lashes has enough time to properly set.
  • Wear comfortable clothing.  You will  lay  down for 1-3 hours with dimmed lights. Bring some music and headset and relax as during your eyelash application, comfortable clothes will allow you to make the most of this time to relax and be pampered.
  • Remove your contacts.  Your eyes will be closed during the application of your eyelash extensions,  to avoid any discomfort, it is always suggested that contacts are removed allowing eyes to be comfortable in a natural and rested state.
  • Turn off your cellphone just prior to your appointment.  This is truly a time to sit back and relax. Ringing cellphones will only interrupt your treatment. enjoy the “me” time, and let your lash transformation begin.

  • Wear makeup.  Makeup products worn close to the eye will need to be removed prior to the lash application process. Coming to your appointment with a clean face will save time and eliminate the need for you lash stylist to remove your eye makeup.
  • Apply face creams or sunblock to the eye area.  The oils within many moisturizers and sunblock can prevent the eyelash glue from properly adhering to your natural lashes, dramatically reducing the longevity of your eyelash extensions.
  •  Wear mascara.  Lashes must be fresh and clean in order to be properly prepped to receive eye lash extension.  NO mascara!
  • Wear large or dangly earrings.  The lash application process requires you to lay with your head propped on a comfortable support pillow. Large or dangly earrings can often get in the way making it difficult for you to remain comfortable during the complete application time. Curl your lashes on the day of your lash application.  We need your eyelashes to be in the most natural and healthy state they can prior to your lash extension application.  Please do not curl your eyelashes, or use any other manipulation on them the day of your appointment.
